Parking regulations that you might not be aware of: 

Parking on wrong side of two-way roads Vehicles must be parked facing direction of travel lane. 
Parking within 10 feet of driveways Parking not allowed within 10 feet of driveways. 
Parking on a sidewalk Parking not allowed on sidewalks. 
Parking adjacent to fire hydrant Parking not allowed within 15 feet of hydrant. 
Parking adjacent to stop sign Parking not allowed within 30 feet of stop sign. 
Parking at intersections Parking not allowed in or within 20 feet of the intersection.

The nearest library for our neighborhood is the Fairfax City Library.  Lots of parking in the garage underneath.
